Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Davor ein netter kleiner Innenhof mit Springbrunnen. Im Sommer mit Sicherheit noch schöner, wenn man draußen sitzen kann. Zanse Schans ist fußläufig zu erreichen und nebenan ist ein sehr empfehlenswertes indisches Restaurant. Amsterdam , Haarlem oder die Küste sind in 30 – 45 min zu erreichen. Und wenn man wie wir Ende Februar dort ist, freut man sich am Abend auf die eigene Sauna oder den Whirlpool. Liebe Grüße an die netten Vermieter, eine klare Weiterempfehlung !!

Wunderbare Auszeit vom Alltag in diesem schönen und Stil-und liebevoll eingerichtetem Häuschen. Großartig war die vorhandene Sauna. Entspannung pur. Begrüßt wurden wir von der Gastgeberin persönlich und sehr freundlich. Auf uns wartete schon ein gedeckter Tisch mit Pralinen sowie eine Obstschale und ein Fläschchen Sekt. Das ist Gastfreundschaft auf höchstem Niveau! Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt! Unweit der Unterkunft und gut zu Fuß erreichbar liegt die Zaanse Schans. Dort wird man in die Niederlande der Vergangenheit geführt. Mühlen, Klompenwerkstatt, Käserei etc. Zum Meer auf der einen Seite und zum Ijsselmeer auf der anderen Seite nur eine kleine halbe Stunde entfernt. Von uns eine klare Empfehlung!!!

We had a great 6 days staying in Fred & Kelly’s apartment. Communication was prompt and easy. Both Fred & Kelly are very friendly, gracious, generous, resourceful and helpful. The apartment is spotless clean and stylish. In and out of the apartment is easy. Everything we can think of for a great holiday is provided with great consideration and care. Coffee, tea, cup soup, chocolate and even champagne is complimentary! The apartment is within walking distance to the very beautiful Zaanse Schans and near the railway station that conveniently for us to travel various points of interest. There are good restaurants nearby recommended by Fred & Kelly. We felt very relax and able to rest comfortably in the quiet home with privacy. Thank you Fred & Kelly for the kind hospitality! Highly recommend to stay here!
Dear Fred & Kelly Thank you very much for providing such a lovely and wonderful place for us during our stay in Amsterdam. The apartment, is tastefully designed, a dream holiday stay more than we can imagine. It’s so comfortable and luxury that gave us complete rest and recharge after a long year of working hard. Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur traumhaft und man fühlt sich direkt wie Zuhause! Es fehlt einem an nichts. Für alles gab es eine ausführliche Beschreibung. Die Sauna mit dem Whirlpool ist einfach perfekt für regnerische Tage daheim. Zudem sind noch zwei excellente Massagesessel für noch mehr Entspannung vorhanden. Kelley und Fred waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, haben uns tolle Tipps für Restaurants in der Nähe gegeben und waren immer für uns da, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Die Lage ist ebenfalls perfekt. Mit dem Auto sind es 20 min bis Amsterdamer Zentrum und mit die Bahn ca. 18 min. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig innerhalb von 5 min erreichbar. Wenn nochmals Amsterdam, dann wieder zu Kelly und Fred. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Fred and Kelly’s place is a treat —from the cozy fire, comfy beds, and beautiful furnishings— it is even lovelier than the photos. The home is in the historical register and you feel like you are experiencing a true Dutch home. The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you need. It is walkable to the famous windmill park, restaurants, grocery store and train with easy access to the airport. Kelly is very helpful with suggestions. And to top it off, there is a sauna and massage chairs by the fire. It was private and wonderful. After enjoying the busy world of Amsterdam, to be able to retreat to Fred and Kelly’s village by way of a quick train ride was a delight.

On a passé de très bonnes vacances en Pays-bas chez Kelly et Fred. La maison était belle avec le jacuzzi et le sauna, comme si on a séjourné dans une petite thalasso 😉 Kelly et Fred, ils sont très gentils, attentionnés et serviables pour résoudre des problèmes. On a adoré visiter Amsterdam, le paysage, les gens et les restaurants, vraiment satisfait de nos vacances !

Fred and Kelly were wonderful hosts. They put so much effort into every little detail to make you feel at home! They definitely went above and beyond! We have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals. This was my favorite! Would recommend to anyone and would come back.

We absolutely loved staying with Fred and Kelly! Kelly was super helpful in answering any questions we had. The garden and apartment were beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking/eating at home. Our favorite part of the apartment was the Finnish sauna. We loved strolling around the cute, laid back neighborhood. Zaanse Schans was just a 10 minute walk away, and was a perfect half day activity. Getting to Amsterdam Central was super quick and easy. There were also great restaurants and grocery stores within 5 minutes by foot. Highly recommend staying here!

Old is gold. A much recommended place to stay. Everything was simply perfect. All the facilities were right in order and the level of small details put forward to make this beautiful apartment a home was immense. Very organised and peaceful setting which was a perfect recipe of a home away from home. Private sauna and Jacuzzi adds on to the joy. Being situated in a touristic environment, the neighbourhood was so quiet with cute small shops, bakeries, and cafes. Fred and Kelly were a great host altogether, so welcoming, they provided each and every required information in detail. One of my best experiences I have had so far. Looking forward to visiting this place again. So pack your bags, book the tickets and ride to this romantic getaway for a memorable everlasting experience. Cheers.

Experience was fantastic and the property (apartment) had everything we wanted. It was close to public transportation, near great restaurants, and quiet enough that it wasn’t right in the city (but the city was very easy to get to)! The owners went above and beyond to make the experience amazing! 5 stars!

A Great Place in an excellent location
We had the pleasure to stay at Fred and Kelley’s B &B for 5 nights and we could have not been happier. It is located nw of Amsterdam with only a short train ride away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam. Their place was more than we could have asked more. Spacious, clean, private and even includes a indoor jacuzzi bathroom with a heated floor and a sauna. Classic european luxury. Fred and Kelly are the nicest hosts that you would ever meet and provided us with everything that we would ever need to make our stay a comfortable one. This area is just blocks away from the old Holland windmill area and what a nice time we had enjoying it all. We rented bikes for a couple of days and really enjoyed cruising through the beautiful farmland areas right next to this small town. This is just a perfect place to unwind and relax and enjoy this beautiful town and country. The transportation system here is unbelievable and you can get anywhere you want in the area in a short time. We had been traveling in Europe for two months prior to our stay here and by far this b & b is the best place that we stayed and will leave a lasting memory for us.

Das denkmalgeschützte Haus ist in einem super tollen gepflegten sauberen Zustand. Ein Haus mit geschätzter historie. Bis ins kleinste Detail ordentlich restauriert und toll eingerichtet. Das Zimmer übertraf unseren Vorstellungen um ein vielfaches. Selten so gut und schön geschlafen. Ein Haus mit tollen Stil. Die Reise Infos waren sehr ausführlich und hilfreich.
