   This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We loved it.
   This is one of the prettiest , most charming rooms I have ever stayed in. Kelly was very welcoming. She gave us a lot of useful information about the area. She served us coffer and chocolates on arrival. It was a cold day so this was very welcome. They even had a small lit Christmas tree in the room. The bed is comfortable. The bath is very nice. The jacuzzi is quite large. It is a nicely appointed room.The ceiling in the bathroom is adorable. Did I mention it’s charming. My only regret is we only had 2 nights here. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

   (Guestroom) La habitación es realmente bonita y acogedora, más de lo que se puede apreciar en las fotos,es como una buardilla independiente con baño propio y un pequeño hall que tiene microondas que viene muy bien para tomar algo caliente con el frío que hace allí y un pequeño frigorífico,para comprar algo sano en el súper ya que te cansas de la comida, de hecho hay uno muy cerca, el baño cuenta con una pequeña sauna dentro de la bañera que se agradece mucho después de andar pasando frío, y un montón de detalles que se agradecen como, batas de andar por casa,tiritas,bastoncillos,aspirinas,geles,hasta hilo para coser! Para nosotros ha sido un acierto ya que en Amsterdam los precios son más caros y lo que puedes encontrar es regular, este es el pueblecito típico de los molinos,parece sacado de un cuento. Desde la casa a la estación del tren hay 7 minutos andando, y 18 hasta la central station de Amsterdam, por lo que puedes disfrutar de la tranquilidad y la verdadera Holanda a un paso. Entre semana pasan trenes cada 15 min y el fin de semana cada media hora,creo que el ultimo tren es alrededor de las 01:40h. Realmente os lo recomendamos!

   This is such a cozy house in the most beautiful neighborhood. Kelly was full of useful information and provided a lot of literature on local hotspots. Very friendly and inviting.    Comfortable, great location, private, good facilities, great hosts.

   Fred and Kelly\’s accommodation is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but is in an excellent location as it is close to public transport, is in easy walking distance of the open air museum, and by car it is easy to travel to interesting locations along the coast. Fred and Kelly are very attentive with tourist information, provision daily of fresh towels if requested, emptying of refuse bins, but importantly provide all of the privacy you require. To have a spa bath and a sauna within the accommodation is a real treat and luxury.
   The items in the apartment/flat are of good quality and there was nothing we required that was not available.
   Car parking is on-street and there was always a space within a few minute\’s walk.
   The flat looks out onto the private and secure garden which is available for use by guests.
   We are an older couple and at the conclusion of 3 months touring Europe this was the ideal place to end our travels.

   A beautiful home in a great location, far enough away from the bustle of Amsterdam but with excellent access to the city when we wanted to visit. The Jacuzzi and sauna were a special treat after a long day out on bikes or wandering the city. Made for an excellent wedding anniversary. A lovely place with great hosts. Your efforts were most appreciated, thanks for the stay.

    One of the best we ever had.

    Staying at this historic lovely flat enriched our experience with Netherlands culture & living. The area is beautiful and just several mins away from heritage windmills. Our hosts are friendly & took care of all our needs. Kitchen is well stocked. We were welcomed with fruits & chocolates. Received lots of touring info. The sauna and jacuzzi definitely helped in relaxing our tired bodies after a long day.
    Really no complaints at all. Would come back and stay there again.

    Great location, wonderful hosts who have local knowledge help you get the most of the area, super breakfasts. We stayed in the guest room for five nights. Each morning a super breakfast was provided. Warm welcome on arrival and lots of very useful information provided by Fred and Kelly to help plan your stay most effectively. Easy walk to local station with local trains to Amsterdam central (just four stops away 18 mins) four times an hour during the day and every couple of hours during the evening /night time. Lovely room and garden to relax in. We loved our time here,enjoying the peace and tranquility of this location but able to easily access the fun and buzz of Amsterdam whenever we wanted. Recommend purchase of three day travel pass when you arrive Amsterdam as this allows you to travel freely around on train,bus and tram without the bother of buying tickets, also cost effective. We also enjoyed a visit to nearby Leiden.

    Fred and kelly were wonderful hosts for us. They were friendly, accommodating and always quick to respond to any and all inquiries we had in regard to the room, sightseeing, finding public transportation, and local amenities without us feeling anything but welcomed and at ease. If our journeys ever take us their way again, we will absolutely stay there every time

    Un séjour de deux nuits (3 personnes) dans ce B&B où tout est vraiment PARFAIT ! Accueil chaleureux et échanges très clairs avec les propriétaires, explications sur l’accès et les différents services… Appartement avec lit double (très bonne literie) + un lit d’appoint (très bien) séparé par un rideau. Spa et baignoire jaccuzzi, un sens du détail exceptionnel : rien ne manque ! Je recommande également le petit déjeuner, plus que complet et traditionnel. Facilité également pour laisser les bagages plus tard que prévu dans le logement ! Environnement : petit jardin intérieur très mignon, proche du village de Zaan Schans et ses moulins, belle balade d’une demie journée accessible à pied à moins d’un quart d’heure (et également un quart d’heure d’Amsterdam Centraal en train) que je recommande de faire ! je recommande à 100% ! Allez y les yeux fermés !

    We verbleven vier dagen in het appartement en ieder moment dat we er waren was volop genieten!
    De ontvangst was hartelijk en enthousiasmerend en er is geen woord teveel gezegd over de mogelijkheden die de Zaanstreek biedt. De omgeving is super er is veel (heel veel) te zien en te beleven en eenmaal terug in het appartement is het heerlijk om te ontspannen in de sauna en/of de whirlpool.
    En iedere dag begint met een zalig ontbijt.
    Kortom: een aanrader!!

    Heel gezellige kleinschalige B&B met heel persoonlijke en super vriendelijke gastvrouw ,
    Alles was super proper en er werd aan alles gedacht ,ontbijt mits kleine vergoeding, die dat zeker waard is was super lekker ! En verbinding naar Amsterdam was heel makkelijk ! Ook in de buurt van alles te beleven en ook goede restaurants �
    Kortom we hebben ervan genoten een echte aanrader !!!

    Wir haben 2 Nächte in diesem wunderschönen B&B verbracht.
    Die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Hier fühlt man sich zu Hause. Danke an Familie Snel! Diese Unterkunft kann man zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

    We stayed in the guest suite a short 3 nights Sept 27-29th after a 4 week Italy/ Munich vacation. The suite was amazingly appointed and equipped and although we had a full kitchen we opted for the \"breakfast\" well worth it !!! Kelly and Fred were amazing hosts and very helpful with local sites and amenities, we stayed the Zaanstreek area and enjoyed the windmills and other sites, it was peaceful and elegant, good restaurants and shopping close by. We highly recommend staying here,

    This is a beautiful home perfectly located with just a short walk to Zaanse Schans. The Snel’s have thought of everything to provided for an easy and comfortable stay in their home. They have added lots of little special touches here and there (Flowers, local Chocolate, Fresh Fruit, Ect) to make the stay extra special. On arrival Kelly had information on anything and everything I could have wanting to know about their small village and surrounding areas. I had a lovely stay and highly recommend staying in their home.
